This company are a Microsoft Certified MSP providing IT Support, Installations, VoIP Phone Systems, Office 365 Cloud Services, Hosted Servers, Cloud backup and Photocopiers to over 350 customers throughout the West Midlands and are based in Solihull As a company they have grown rapidly over the past 5 years and now have a team of 30 with plans to grow this over the next 12 months. The job will be a mixture of home working and office based working. A typical week would be 2 days in the office and the rest of the week working from home once you have completed your probation. IT experience, particularly within a support environment and ideally from within an MSP is really important for this role but they are also looking for the right person to fit our existing team. Some of the technologies they support include Office 365, on-premise and hosted servers, Acronis backup and DR, Active Directory, PC/Laptops, UniFi Wireless networks and Watchguard Firewalls. The ideal candidate will be dealing with a mix of helpdesk calls alongside an existing team of 9 people. They will have an excellent telephone manner, good patience and be able to resolve IT issues both over the phone and by remotely connecting into our clients sites. All their staff are Microsoft, 3CX and Watchguard certified or on the path to certification and we actively encourage and cover the cost of this. Key skills (Must haves) Windows Server inc. Hyper V, AD, DHCP, DNS Strong PC experience Windows/OSX Router/Switch/Firewall Configuration Good Hardware knowledge Excellent IP and TCP/IP Knowledge preferably to Network/CompTIA Excellent and Patient telephone manner Excellent troubleshooting technique Full driving licence Benefits Work from home - Hybrid Full training plan with 1/2 a day a month allocated study time 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) 24/7 counselling support and financial advise helpline Potential to earn commission What next If this sounds like your ideal job, we would love to hear from you.
