Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Job Role: Full-time, long-term opportunity, term-time only, until the end of the academic year
Hours: 9:30am – 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
* Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes
* Support students with personal care requirements (including toileting and feeding)
* Promote independence and encourage positive behaviour
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each pupil
Requirements
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in an educational, care, or support setting)
* Confidence and comfort in providing personal care
* A patient, compassionate, and resilient attitude when working with vulnerable students
* Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, during term time
