Our Wills & Probate team is growing, and we are looking for a reliable and experienced Legal Secretary to join us and support our solicitors in delivering exceptional client care. The Role:As a Wills & Probate Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in managing case files and providing comprehensive secretarial support to our legal team. Your attention to detail and strong organisational skills will help ensure smooth case progression and excellent client service. Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing, formatting, and proofreading Wills, Probate documents, and related correspondence
* Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and liaising with clients, executors, and third parties
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files and records
* Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently
* Assisting with billing and invoicing tasks
* Supporting solicitors with general administrative duties as required
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Wills & Probate or Private Client work
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
* Proficiency with MS Office and legal case management software
* A proactive, friendly, and professional attitude
* Discretion and confidentiality are essential
