In this vital role, you'll contribute to delivering essential services that keep our roads safe and our communities connected. From tarmac and paving works to emergency call-outs and traffic management, your efforts will help us fulfill our promises to clients and the public.
Location:
Staines - A30 Wraysbury, Wraysbury Road, Staines, Middlesex, TW19 6HA
Hours:
Permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week on a shift pattern, including days and nights.
Salary:
£14.80 to £16.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus uplifts for nights, overtime, and call-out & standby.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will:
* Work collaboratively with your team to carry out tarmac and paving works, traffic management, and winter service delivery.
* Respond to emergency works and complete safety-critical tasks.
* Liaise professionally with members of the public when approached on-site.
* Follow Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, ICoP, and all training provided.
* Complete required paperwork accurately and on time (e.g., PUWER checks, HAVS forms).
What We’re Looking For:
This role is ideal for you if you have:
* A full UK driving licence.
* NRSWA & 12AB qualifications.
* A good level of physical fitness.
* A willingness to work days or nights as required.
