Main duties and responsibilities:
Raise and manage purchase orders based on internal demand and system requirements
Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times and delivery schedules
Support supplier performance tracking and help resolve delivery or quality issues
Assist in maintaining accurate data within the MRP/ERP system
Monitor stock levels and assist in planning replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking
Support pricing reviews and cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with the Buyer or Purchasing Manager
Maintain supplier documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in a purchasing, supply chain or procurement role
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong supplier relationships
Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (training can be provided)
A proactive attitude and genuine interest in developing within procurement
