This role is designed for recent graduates who are passionate about software development and eager to build a career creating innovative technology solutions.As part of a 12-month rotational graduate programme, you will work across multiple Agile Scrum teams within the Fusion 360 engineering organisation. You will contribute to the development of complex engineering software used by customers around the world, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies, products, and development practices.You will work alongside experienced software engineers and receive training, structured support and mentoring to help you develop your technical and professional skills. As your experience grows, you will take increasing ownership of designing and implementing high-quality software solutions.As a Graduate Software Engineer on the Fusion team, you’ll work alongside Agile teams of experienced developers, tackling real engineering challenges. Whether you’re coding algorithms in C++, building web features in TypeScript, or exploring AI-driven tools, you’ll gain mentorship, guidance, and the autonomy to make a meaningful impact.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to projects across the full software development lifecycle following initial onboarding and trainingDevelop clean, reliable, and maintainable code using a range of programming languages and technologiesWork within Agile Scrum teams to deliver software features and improvementsParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to engineering standardsDevelop and maintain unit testsUse source control and continuous integration tools, including GitHub and JenkinsCollaborate with engineers, testers, and product teams to solve technical challengesContribute to the development of desktop, web, and engineering software applicationsTechnologies and ToolsYou may work with technologies including:C++PythonTypeScript / ReactGitHubJenkinsSkills and ExperienceEssentialDegree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related disciplinePredicted or achieved 2:1 or First-Class degreeMinimum 120 UCAS pointsStrong interest in software engineering and technologyGood problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentDesirableProgramming experience using one or more languages such as C, C++, Java, C# or PythonSolid maths foundationsFamiliarity with software development concepts and practicesUnderstanding of Agile development methodologiesWhat We OfferStructured graduate development programme with rotational placementsMentoring and support from experienced engineersExposure to a variety of technologies and engineering disciplinesHybrid working arrangementsCompany share schemeGenerous pension schemePrivate medical coverHealth and wellbeing supportAnnual incentive schemeLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
