Maintenance Engineer (Shifts)
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring the smooth operation of plant and equipment through a robust Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute the site’s TPM program to maintain optimal equipment performance
* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
* Coordinate and oversee external contractors working on site
* Maintain building services in compliance with legislation and site standards
* Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems and equipment are maintained
* Keep accurate and detailed maintenance service records
What Were Looking For
* Time‑served, multi‑skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias
* Strong electrical background and knowledge of BS 7671 regulations
* Experience with hydraulic systems and compression moulding presses
* Ability to fault‑find across electrical and mechanical systems
Desirable
* Knowledge of waterjet cutting systems
* Experience with steam generation
* City and Guilds/HNC/ONC qualifications
* Forklift truck and MEWP licenses
