Main Duties
As a Senior Care Assistant you will support the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment. Your responsibilities include:
* Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and ensuring care plans are up‑to‑date.
* Supporting residents with medication requirements.
* Participating in person‑centred care planning and performing monthly evaluations.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and providing support for staff development.
* Acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health & social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns are escalated.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
* At least two years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Positive attitude toward supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Responsive and flexible willingness to cover a range of responsibilities.
Requirements
* DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Compensation & Employment
* Pay: £13.85 per hour.
* Contract: Permanent.
* Working pattern: Full‑time (Night shift).
