Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Male PE Cover Supervisor to work in a vibrant secondary school in Ellesmere Port. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in physical education and experience working with young people. The school we are working with is a large academy school based in the centre of Ellesmere Port. The school has great sports facilities and is passionate about rugby and football. The school are looking for a male with a sports background to support a busy department with practical lessons and supervising of changing rooms. About the Role: As a PE Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set PE lessons, maintaining discipline, and supporting students in their physical development. You will step in during teacher absences and may also assist with extra-curricular activities and sports fixtures. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and deliver PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Manage behaviour effectively and promote school values. Supervise pupils in changing rooms (male only). Support school sports events, clubs, and fixtures. Assist with equipment setup and lesson preparation.To be considered for this role, we will need - Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate. A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment. A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us.
