Location: Leeds
We have an opportunity for someone who has started their career within quantity surveying who has aspirations to develop their career. If you ready to develop your skills and training to reach your goals and become qualified through a successful APC support process, this role will enable you to work at both pre and post contract stage. You will have the opportunity to participate, support and lead in a variety of projects within the residential, education, retail, commercial, industrial,and infrastructure sectors.

Role and Responsibilities
1. Advise on costs involved in building projects
2. Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals
3. Advise on contract arrangements and conditions under which buildings will be constructed
4. Evaluation of tenders and reporting thereon
5. Attending and being involved in contractor meetings
6. Provide advice on implications of different construction methods, materials etc
7. Preparation of monthly cost reports and final accounts
Experience and Skills Required
8. Relevant degree in a surveying, or similar, RICS accredited course
9. Experience gained within a consultancy environment
10. A desire to becoming an MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor (supported by the business)
