About the Role
We're looking for a Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our skilled engineering team, delivering smoke and comfort ventilation services across Scotland. You'll carry out planned maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and occasional installation support, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to compliance standards.
This role is ideal for an experienced service engineer—or someone with strong skills in related systems (fire alarms, access control, building services) who is ready to develop into this specialist area.
We're Looking For Someone With:
* Experience installing, servicing, or diagnosing life-safety systems – smoke vents, fire alarms, access control, or similar.
* Understanding of BS and a willingness to expand knowledge.
* Practical, hands-on ability and problem-solving mindset.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* A clean, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland (minimal overnight stays).
* Valid CSCS or ECS card (or relevant qualifications that allow you to obtain one).
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, repair, and fault diagnostics on smoke and comfort ventilation systems.
* Support with installation and commissioning activities where required.
* Ensure all works are delivered on time, safely, and to compliance standards.
* Complete accurate reporting and record-keeping through our systems.
* Work collaboratively with other engineers, sharing knowledge and supporting development.
* Represent the company professionally when liaising with clients and contractors.
Career Progression & Training
We don't just hire engineers—we develop specialists. You'll receive structured support to expand your technical skills and progress within the company, with opportunities to move into supervisory or project roles as the business and your career grows.
