SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist College - Coventry (CV4) - Full-Time - From £95 Per Day
Are you passionate about helping young people with additional needs reach their full potential? We're delighted to offer a rewarding opportunity for a committed and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a respected specialist college in Coventry. You'll be supporting students aged 16-25 with complex needs, including Autism, physical disabilities, and multiple learning difficulties.
This role is all about creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where students can develop their confidence, independence, and life skills. If you're patient, proactive, and ready to make a real difference, we want to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support to ensure students can fully engage in learning
2. Encouraging independence within the classroom and throughout college life
3. Supporting engaging, accessible learning activities tailored to each student's needs
4. Promoting emotional, social, and communication development
5. Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent care and support
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience working with young people with SEN is ideal, especially in a post-16 setting - but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued
2. A calm, compassionate approach with strong behaviour management skills
3. Great communication and teamwork abilities
4. Passion for supporting independence and personal development
5. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage but not essential - your attitude and dedication matter most
