About Our Client
We're supporting a market-leading FTSE-listed organisation with a strong European footprint, in the search for a Treasury Analyst to join their Group Treasury team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop within a sophisticated treasury function, gain front-office exposure and build technical expertise across cash, FX, debt and derivatives.
Job Description
3. Managing daily cash positions and short-term liquidity across multiple entities and currencies
4. Supporting end-to-end processing of cash, funding, FX and hedging transactions from execution through to maturity
5. Coordinating high-value, urgent and international payments, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement
6. Handling inter-company cash movements across the Group
7. Preparing and issuing settlement instructions and ensuring all treasury transactions are recorded accurately in the TMS and confirmed with counterparties
8. Assisting with cash flow forecasting, planning upcoming transactions and supporting refinancing activity
9. Monitoring treasury risk metrics and ensuring compliance with approved limits
10. Maintaining banking documentation, mandates, KYC, and assisting with annual bank account reviews
11. Preparing regular reporting and analysis relating to treasury activity, exposures and performance
12. Acting as a key point of contact for banking queries across the business, including opening/closing bank accounts
13. Supporting business units as treasury activities are centralised into Group Treasury
14. Liaising with Group Finance and internal/external auditors on treasury-related matters
15. Using and helping to develop treasury and banking systems (e.g. TMS, 360T and online banking platforms) and identifying opportunities to improve processes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Treasury Analyst should have:
16. Experience within corporate treasury, or a relevant financial environment
17. Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels
18. High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
19. Ability to prioritise, work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
20. Proactive and curious approach, with a willingness to learn
21. Interest in (or current progression towards) ACT, AMCT, CIMA, ACCA or similar is advantageous
22. Exposure to treasury systems, electronic payments or derivative instruments would be beneficial
