The role of Multi-Trade Chargehand will include:
1. Assisting with the daily management of a team and overseeing repairs and refurbishment of properties, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard
2. Inspecting works completed to ensure these represent value for money e.g. efficient use of materials
3. Ensuring H&S policies and procedures are followed on site, maintaining compliance for health and safety
4. Ordering materials, and liaising with suppliers for material availability
5. Ensuring works are completed to KPI targets and financial recovery for completed void works
6. Maintaining good morale for the team and encouraging high levels of performance
Skills and experiences:
7. To ensure full compliance with CDM 2015 legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to SVQ Level 2 in a core subject. SVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core, currently undertaking the qualification or prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group
8. Recent experience of undertaking a similar role supervising staff
9. Good communication, interpersonal and customer care skills
10. Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
11. Basic skills in use of Microsoft office, Excel, Outlook and Word
12. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
