Deputy Manager:* Salary from £34,108.88 to £36,267.72 (173 hours)*Objective*We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of a children's residential home.You will play a key role in ensuring high quality care is delivered, regulatory standards are met and staff are supported to reach their full potential.*Key Responsibilities*· Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager· Lead, support and supervise staff, promoting a positive and high performing team· Assist with recruitment, staff development and retention· Promote and maintain high standards in line with policies and procedures· Support the planning and delivery of high-quality care for the young people· Ensure equipment and practices meet legal requirements*What We're Looking For*· Experience working in a children's residential setting· Strong knowledge of safeguarding, childcare legislation and regulatory framework· Proven leadership and team management skills· Excellent communication and organisational skills· Ability to work collaboratively with external professionals and agencies*The above list of duties is not exhaustive and may be modified from time to time in accordance with the development of the service and the employee.**Please note:* all job offers are subject to safer recruitment checks, DBS clearance and medical clearance.
