Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus, specials boards, and daily dishes.
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and high standards.
* Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
* Maintain accurate records of food costs, waste, and labor hours.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment.
* Excellent culinary skills, including knife work, cooking techniques, and presentation.
* Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct kitchen staff.
* Degree or certification in culinary arts preferred.
