Senior Scientist – 12‑Month Contract (Stevenage)

About the Role
You’ll join the developability team, working hands‑on to profile and characterise biopharmaceuticals using a range of biophysical techniques. Your work will directly support early project teams and influence candidate selection.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and executing experiments to characterise proteins using biophysical methods (SEC, DLS, DSF, etc.)
* Interpreting and communicating data to multidisciplinary teams
* Maintaining high‑quality electronic lab notebooks
* Contributing to the optimisation of therapeutic antibody candidates
What We’re Looking For
* PhD (or equivalent industry experience) in biophysics or a related discipline
* Hands‑on experience with protein characterisation using techniques such as:
* Dynamic Light Scattering
* Analytical Size Exclusion / chromatography methods
* Mass spectrometry
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
* Automated liquid handling systems
* Antibody drug discovery workflows
