In our Dairy in East Kilbride, we have opportunities for Production Operatives.
As a production operative, your role would be working on our Polybottle fillers.
Production Operative - Key Responsibilities
* To ensure that hygiene and cleanliness standards of all personnel and equipment are maintained.
* To ensure the achievement of daily production requirements in relation to the figures set by the production management team
* To administer and update all required documentation & records relating to filler operation.
* Ensure that fillers and production equipment are properly cleaned and sterilised.
* To ensure that agreed daily cleaning schedules, routines and procedures are strictly adhered to.
* Ensure that the wastage of materials, products and services is kept to a minimum.
* To carry out average weights testing in accordance with company procedures to ensure legal compliance.
Production Operative - Essential Skills
* Verbal Communication
* Numeracy and literacy
* Ability to work well within a team or on own initiative
* Manual handling
Production Operative - Desired Experience
* Previous experience as a machine operator in a FMCG environment, preferably food manufacturing.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, energetic with previous experience, and will be able to work under pressure and use their initiative.
