Business Development Executive - Immediate Start
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 Basic Salary Plus Benefits
Location: Worcester
Responsibilities
* Manage your own portfolio of accounts, with the intention to grow additional business and revenue for products and services.
* Retain and develop existing customers.
* Actively develop customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Identify new business opportunities through existing accounts and generate leads.
* Contribute to sales growth by upselling on live orders.
* Support external sales team with regular reports showing order input and planned deliveries.
* Manage deliveries to schedules/forecasts.
* Act as a focal point for external customer contact including inbound enquiries (phone, web & email), lead qualification, quotations, samples, logistics and delivery queries.
* Maintain opportunity pipeline, keep it up to date, chase open opportunities, and update the CRM accordingly.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and experience
* 2-3 years B2B sales / account management background.
* Adaptability in communication with various industry accounts and contacts.
* Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and work within a small, fast-paced company.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Office 365 / Excel.
* Good understanding of technology.
* Confident communicator both internally with the team and externally with managed accounts.
* Proactive, organized, with strong time and workload management to prioritise tasks and actions.
