Job Purpose
East Ayrshire Leisure's Hospitality Service is expanding, and we are seeking an ambitious, experienced, and passionate Head or Sous Chef to:
1. Support our Development Manager with menu development and the preparation and delivery of quality food for our venues and food services;
2. Champion food quality, food safety, and health & safety;
3. Manage our central kitchen operation and inventory;
4. Train, coach, and develop the kitchen team;
5. Work closely with our Development Manager and Strategic Lead to grow and develop a commercially viable food service that meets the needs of our service users and venue visitors, showcasing the best of Ayrshire produce.

Rate of Pay
Annual salary ranges from £33,124 to £35,927. Working hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (including a 50-minute unpaid lunch), and Sunday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (including a 40-minute unpaid lunch). Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service and events.
