Job Summary
Senior Practitioner, Band 6 Nurse to join the Greenways Assessment and Treatment Unit team in Macclesfield.

Responsibilities
* Lead the development of complex care plans for service users and the nursing team.
* Work within a multi‑professional framework, supporting the Clinical Lead and Unit Manager with supervision and team development.
* Collaborate with individual service users, carers and all key stakeholders to deliver person‑centred care.
* Ensure care is based on a collaborative ethos, utilising the 6 Cs – Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, Commitment.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
* First level registered nurse (RNLD or RNMH).
* First level Degree.
* Post‑registration qualification in challenging behaviour, autism, mental health or mentor qualification.
Essential Knowledge & Expertise
* Awareness of current issues and relevant legislation.
* Appreciation of governance and participation in service developments.
* Quality and service improvement initiatives.
Essential Experience
* Experience working with adults with a learning disability within an assessment and treatment/respite setting.
* Direct experience with clients with complex needs (challenging behaviour, epilepsy, mental health problems, continuing health care).
Pay & Contract
Band 6 – £38,682 to £46,580 per annum.
Permanent, full‑time, shift system across the 24/7 spectrum.
