About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with SEMH needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop social skills, and thrive in a nurturing educational environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced educators and contribute to the positive development of vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils’ learning and emotional well-being
* Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored activities
* Promoting positive behaviour and social development
* Providing one-to-one or small group support as needed
* Supporting pupils with individual needs in line with SEMH strategies
Requirements:
* Experience working in SEMH or special education settings is highly preferable
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
