A day in the life of…
As a Nights Guest Service Assistant, you'll provide exceptional customer service, including guest check-in and check-out, handling inquiries and complaints, and managing reservations. Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and being knowledgeable about hotel policies and amenities are essential.
Your role extends beyond the front desk as part of the nighttime operations. You'll support breakfast, housekeeping, and other departments, demonstrating first-class customer service and teamwork. This role offers development opportunities across all hotel departments, playing a crucial part in ensuring guests enjoy a first-class, comfortable stay.
What do we need from you?
* Attention to detail: Ensuring guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
* Excellent communication skills: Both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
* Customer service skills: Friendly, welcoming, and professional handling of guest inquiries and complaints.
* Organizational skills: Managing guest reservations and maintaining a tidy workspace.
* Technical skills: Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, internet use, and experience with hotel management software like Opera or Fidelio is a plus.
* Teamwork: A collaborative team player, working closely with all hotel departments, including supporting the breakfast team to ensure a smooth start for guests each morning.
