Finance Manager M&Ds Scotlands Theme Park
Location: Strathclyde Country Park Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week Salary: in the range £40k - £45k
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy finance team. This is a key position within the business, working closely with the operational departments and owners.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the finance team.
Prepare monthly management accounts for four companies.
Produce quarterly VAT returns for four companies.
Supervise payroll processes and provide assistance for any payroll-related queries.
Work collaboratively with department managers to prepare and review budgets.
Carry out additional ad-hoc finance duties as required.
About You:
Strong experience in a finance management role.
Prior experience of stock control and pricing.
Sage payroll and Xero accounts experience highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in multi-company accounting would be advantageous.
Experience:
Accounting experience: 5 years + (required)
Management accounting, VAT, payroll and stock control: 5 years + (required)
Management of accounting teams: 3 years + (required)
