Responsibilities of this Parts Supervisor position:
9. Lead and supervise the parts department team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
10. Manage stock levels through developing and implementing precise inventory control procedures
11. Oversee receipt, interpretation, and prompt despatch of parts to retail, trade, and workshop customers.
12. Conduct regular stock audits, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
13. Communicate with the senior management team regarding backorder issues, utilising the dealership’s escalation process
14. Interact professionally with customers to understand requirements and assist in locating the right parts
15. Ensure vehicle health checks are accurately completed to maintain workshop efficiency
16. Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, escalating unresolved issues as necessary
17. Strive to deliver outstanding customer service consistently, both internally and externally.
Requirements of this Parts Supervisor role:
18. Proven experience within a main dealer parts environment, with supervisory responsibilities.
19. Familiarity with Kerridge or similar dealership management systems
20. Knowledge of brand-specific parts and systems is highly desirable
21. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
22. Immaculate professional appearance aligned with dealership standards
23. Full UK Driving Licence
Additional Requirements:
24. Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday (Saturday rota paid as overtime)
25. Ability to maintain high standards of record keeping and customer service
