TP Tutors is currently recruiting caring and enthusiastic SEN Tutors to provide individualised educational support to learners across Basingstoke and surrounding areas.
Position: SEN Tutor
Location: Basingstoke and nearby locations
Hours: Flexible full-time and part-time availability
Setting: In-person tuition
The Opportunity
This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people with additional learning needs through tailored one-to-one sessions. Learners may present with Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD, SEMH challenges, anxiety-related barriers, or disrupted education experiences.
Main Duties
* Deliver engaging face-to-face tutoring sessions
* Monitor learner development and adapt planning accordingly
* Communicate effectively with families and professionals
* Maintain a structured and supportive learning environment
* Travel to student locations within Basingstoke and surrounding areas
Ideal Skills and Experience
* Previous experience working with children or young people preferred
* Suitable for teachers, tutors, mentors, and SEN practitioners
* Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
* Patient, empathetic, and flexible mindset
* Reliable with good organisational skills
* Awareness of safeguarding and child protection
* Ability to commute for local tuition sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
