The Role
As a Finance Business Partner for the main division within the group, your key duties and responsibilities will include:
Providing finance support & challenge to the Tenancy and Unlicenced Property Divisions Operations team to drive performance and achieve business targets.
Providing insightful analysis to the Tenancy and Unlicenced Property Divisions team to aid commercial decision making.
Investment appraisal and post project performance measurement.
Identifying and recommending process improvements across the business and working with stakeholders to develop solutions.
Generating period results for distribution and presentation to the Management Team and Operations Team.
Producing the budget and forecasts for the Tenancy and Unlicenced Property Divisions.
Calculating the quarterly bonus for the Tenancy and Unlicenced Property Divisions.
This is a highly commercial role in a growing business and will require a strong communicator looking to make a difference on a day to day basis.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be confident and personable with the following skills and experience:
Part qualified ICAS/ACCA/CIMA accountant (or suitably qualified by experience).
Proven experience of managing and prioritising a varied workload
Application of Financial & Accounting Principles
Excellent communication skills and able to communicate finance information to non-finance employees
Financial Modelling and Analysis skills – Proficient in Excel
Proactive individual who is eager to learn about the commercial aspects of the business and develop their skill set
