About The Role
Are you a skilled Gas Supervisor looking to make a difference in your community? Join LiveWest, the largest housing association in the South West, and help us provide high-quality homes and services to our customers.
Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Gas Supervisor to join our team! You will lead a team of Gas Engineers to ensure the successful delivery of operations related to our gas and heating services across a geographical area, in line with LiveWest's objectives.
This is a mobile role, primarily working in the Exeter/Taunton/Barnstaple area. You should ideally be based within a 30-minute commute of this area.
Key Responsibilities
* Gas Safe Compliance: Manage and supervise fault finding and maintenance duties, including registration of new gas installations for Building Control Regulations.
* Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining a safe environment for team, property, and customers.
* Team Leadership: Lead and coach Gas Engineers, including recruitment, induction, and management responsibilities.
* Customer Satisfaction: Drive team performance to ensure high customer satisfaction through skilled and value-driven service.
* Business Support: Collaborate with operational colleagues to resolve issues, keeping all parties informed.
* Procurement and Planning: Oversee material ordering, monitor equipment, and liaise with planners on workload and resources.
* On-Call Participation: Participate in out-of-hours on-call duties, resolving escalated issues from external providers and engineers.

About The Candidate
To succeed, you should have:
* A minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
* Knowledge of British Standards, Gas Safe, HSE standards, and fault diagnosis skills.
* Understanding of health and safety in building and maintenance works.
* Supervisory or management experience, including team recruitment and mentoring.
* Strong communication skills and proficiency in mobile technology.
* A full, valid UK driving license.
Qualifications
* CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1, and other desirable qualifications listed.
