Overview
Position: Inventory Control Specialist
Salary: $22-$24/HR

Responsibilities
* Conduct and log cycle counts daily to ensure inventory accuracy
* Monitor and track inventory adjustments made throughout the facility
* Visually recognize inventory opportunities and react accordingly
* Audit labels and tags on reels; compare BATCH labels with mfg. labels and cable print
* Accountable for RMA's and resolution of all returned materials
* Work closely with warehouse staff and correct inventory discrepancies to reduce order picking issues
* Ongoing update of warehouse material layout map
* Work with Receiving supervisor and assist in placement of new inventory within the facility
* Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse
* Identify obsolete inventory (short lengths, dated product, etc) and make recommendations for future space planning
* Work closely with Order Expediter to ensure proper D365 reservation functions
* Create NC documents and log accordingly
* Problem solve inventory discrepancies with customer orders as they arise
* Continue to develop and build processes, techniques and strategies to improve workflow
* Assist in quality check and sign off on outbound shipments (accuracy, safety, weights, packaging, etc.)
* Communicate with sales/engineering on product discrepancies or issues
* Assist Warehouse manager with duties as they arise
* Assist in conducting annual full physical inventory count
Qualifications
* Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and physical counts
* Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies efficiently
* Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems)
* Comfortable performing physical tasks including lifting, moving, and organizing inventory
* Experience conducting cycle counts and participating in full physical inventories
* Strong problem-solving skills related to order fulfillment and product discrepancies
* Ability to read and audit product labels, tags, and printed information accurately
* Knowledge of warehouse layout planning and space optimization
* Effective communication skills for coordinating with warehouse staff, sales, and engineering teams
* Ability to create and manage non-conformance (NC) documentation
* Understanding of safe packaging, labeling, and quality control for outbound shipments
* Ability to manage RMAs and handle returned materials professionally
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
* Collaborative mindset with willingness to support supervisors and cross-functional teams as needed
