We are currently looking for an experienced Van Driver to join our team. The role will involve delivering plastic portable toilets and driving a 3.5Tonne Van. The successful candidate should have experience in driving vans and a proven track record of completing deliveries on time and in compliance with road safety regulations.
Monday - Friday 7.00am to 5pm
45 hours per week
Role and Responsibilities
* Deliver plastic portable toilets to customers on time
* Load and unload deliveries using appropriate lifting techniques
* Operate a 3.5Tonne Van in a safe and efficient manner
* Carry out daily checks of the vehicle and equipment to ensure road safety and company compliance
* Ensure that deliveries are correctly documented and stored on the vehicle
* Follow all safety regulations when loading and unloading materials
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures
* Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times
* Provide excellent customer service to all clients
* Report any delays or problems with the vehicle to the office
Requirements
* Full, valid driving licence
* Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy loads
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible and reliable approach to work
* Ongoing training and development
* 28 days holiday
