Job Requirements
Senior SAP Functional Consultant with 10+ years of relevant experience in SAP Project System (PS) & SAP Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) modules to lead and manage business requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design in SAP PS/PPM implementations in S4 HANA environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong hands-on experience in implementing/upgradation of SAP Project System (PS) & SAP Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) modules with hands-on configuration skills.
* Good experience in S/4HANA implementation and upgrade projects.
* Strong experience in integration of SAP PS/PPM modules with other SAP modules like PM, MM, HR, FICO, BI etc.
* Experience in defining systems strategy, gathering/developing functional requirements and coordinate with technical teams.
* Lead blueprinting, design, and configuration of SAP PPM (Portfolio & Project Management) and PS (Project System) modules based on business requirements.
* Work closely with other functional/technical teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
* Ability to perform functional debugging using ABAP knowledge.
* Should be able to analyze and resolve the SAP PPM/PS production issues and carry out RCA.
* Should be able to support business users on day-to-day issues & Change Requests in SAP PPM & SAP PS areas.
* Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to convince business users on SAP solutions and best practices.
* Experience in Agile methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
* Analyse and resolve the SAP PPM/PS production issues and carryout RCA.
* Should be able to do functional debugging, custom developments, and interface design.
* functional testing and conduct end-user training sessions.
* Should be able to perform Fit-Gap analysis, system testing (Unit, Integration, Regression), and UAT support.
* Good experience in Agile methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Key Responsibilities
* Should possess excellent stakeholder management skills to play consultant role for SAP PS and PPM in S4 HANA environment.
* Should be able to lead and manage business requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design in SAP PS/PPM.
* Should liaise effectively with technical teams (ABAP) for functional debugging, custom developments, and interface design.
* Should be able to collaborate with business stakeholders to communicate solutions and get buy-in.
* Should work closely with other functional teams and ensure end-to-end process alignment.
* Should be able to participate in Agile meetings and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
* Should document business processes, configuration settings, and user guides.
