BIM Coordinator
Sector: Workplace Design & Build
Location: London
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum
About the Company:
We are working with a leading workplace consultancy and fit-out specialist based in London. The studio has built a reputation for delivering high-end, human-centric offices for a portfolio of blue-chip clients.
The business is currently expanding and looking for a BIM Coordinator who can bridge the gap between design and delivery while helping drive their digital transformation strategy.
The Role:
This is a dual-purpose role. You will manage the production and coordination of BIM models across live workplace projects, ensuring everything is accurate and compliant. Beyond project work, you will be a key figure in developing the studio’s internal BIM standards, managing Revit libraries, and mentoring the wider team to improve digital literacy across the office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Coordination: Manage and audit Revit models, ensuring adherence to best practices and project health.
* Standards & Strategy: Implement and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and align project workflows with ISO 19650.
* Technical Support: Act as the \"Revit Champion,\" providing daily support to the design team and running staff training/inductions.
* Clash Detection: Coordinate federated models with external consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues before they reach the site.
* Information Management: Manage Common Data Environments (CDEs) and ensure efficient data flow between all project stakeholders.
* Digital Innovation: Research and implement new tools, from AI-based design technology to Dynamo scripts and Scan-to-BIM processes.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: 3–5 years in a BIM-focused role, ideally within workplace, commercial interiors, or fit-out.
* Software: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential. Experience with Navisworks, Enscape, and AutoCAD is highly desirable.
* Industry Knowledge: A solid practical understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM Level 2 workflows.
* Communication: Ability to explain technical workflows clearly to both internal teams and external partners.
* Mindset: Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What’s on Offer:
This is an opportunity to join a highly respected, design-led studio where you will have real influence over their technical evolution. You’ll be working on high-profile London projects within a collaborative culture that offers clear paths for progression as the business grows.
If you’re a Revit specialist looking for a role with more autonomy and the chance to lead a studio’s digital strategy, we’d like to hear from you.
