Key Stage 2 Class Teacher Vacancy – Bracknell Primary School

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time (part-time applications considered)
Start Date: September
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a committed and inspiring Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our thriving and inclusive primary school in Bracknell. The Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for a class of pupils, delivering high-quality teaching that supports progress and attainment for all learners. You will play a key role in shaping a positive classroom culture and ensuring that each child feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum

* Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and inform future planning

* Provide timely and constructive feedback to pupils to support their development

* Establish clear expectations for behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

* Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants and specialist staff

* Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about pupil progress and wellbeing

* Contribute to staff meetings, training and whole-school initiatives

* Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (applications from Early Career Teachers are welcome)

* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum

* Be an effective classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils

* Have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

* Be reflective, proactive and committed to continuous professional development

* Show enthusiasm, resilience and a positive attitude towards teaching and learning

* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
