About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead our Care & Support division based in Westcliff-on-Sea. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of services supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs, and elderly individuals in both supported living and home care environments.
Youll ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that meets CQC standards, while also supporting the strategic development and growth of the division alongside our Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the delivery of personalised care across supported living and domiciliary care settings
* Ensure full compliance with CQC and Health and Care Act 2022 regulations
* Lead and develop care teams through supervision, training, performance management, and recruitment
* Act as the organisations Safeguarding Lead
* Monitor quality assurance and drive continuous improvement
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Participate in weekly on-call rota and manage operational issues out of hours
* Contribute to marketing, financial planning, budgeting, and KPI reporting
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and changes in legislation
Essential Skills and Experience
* Minimum 23 years of experience as a Registered Manager in a home care setting
* Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
* Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
* Computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office tools
