Care Assistant – Days (Birkdale Tower Care Home)
* Pay: £12.21 per hour
* Hours: 44 per week (8am–8pm)

Birkdale Tower Care Home, located in the heart of Birkdale, Southport, is a beautifully restored landmark offering luxurious surroundings and exceptional, person‑centred care. As part of the Sandstone Care Group, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel truly at home. We are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and help deliver outstanding care during daytime hours.
Responsibilities
* Supporting residents with personal care, hygiene and daily living activities
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Assisting residents with mobility and mealtime needs
* Monitoring wellbeing and promptly reporting any changes or concerns
* Maintaining accurate care records and contributing to clear handovers
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe, calm, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
* A caring, professional approach with a positive attitude
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility to work day shifts, including weekends on a rota basis
