Responsibilities:
1. Equity Swap Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of equity swap transactions, including trade lifecycle management, valuation, and risk assessment.
2. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for equity swap products and processes.
3. System Enhancement: Work closely with IT teams to develop and enhance systems and tools for equity swap trading, settlement, and reporting.
4. Trade Support: Provide ongoing support for equity swap trades, including trade booking, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to equity swap trading and reporting.
6. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and training materials.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and compliance officers, to address business needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on equity swaps.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and MiFID II is a plus
