Overview
Subway Sandwich Artist, Two Dales. 12 hours per week, various shifts including Weekdays, Evenings and Weekends. We are looking for a motivated, friendly, hands-on team player to work in the Subway department within our Two Dales store. Reporting directly to the Subway Duty Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service, greet and interact with customers in a helpful and friendly manner, and complete orders to create a pleasant experience.
Responsibilities
* Prepare all sandwich ingredients, including baking of cookies/bread and washing, cutting, slicing, chopping and grating in accordance with established guidelines.
* Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain options to customers accurately.
* Neatly prepare sandwiches according to customer orders.
* Restock sandwich ingredients to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift.
* Use the till to record orders, take payments and give correct change where necessary.
* Understand and adhere to all Subway, SPAR and company operating processes, policies and procedures.
* Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards when storing, preparing, serving food and cleaning the department.
Qualifications / Key Skills
* Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
* Some understanding of health and food safety legislative responsibilities in a food environment.
* Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business at SPAR.
* Keen and enthusiastic approach to working both in a team and independently.
