Job Title: Practice Supervisor, 0–5 Years Triage Panel
Salary: £47,181 - £52,413
Contract: Fixed‑term for three years, until 31 March 2029.
Location: Lincoln, with travel around the county required.
Closing date: 6th May 2026.
Responsibilities
The postholder will work closely with maternity, early years, public health and wider system partners to establish clear, effective pathways, informed by data, evidence and family voice, with a strong focus on areas of greatest need.
The role will support service planning, targeting of evidence‑based programmes, and performance management of locality teams, driving continuous improvement and impact.
A key aspect of the role is quality assurance and standards setting, ensuring practice and service delivery align with delivery expectations, national guidance and local priorities.
The postholder will oversee quality frameworks, monitor outcomes and impact, and ensure robust governance and assurance arrangements are in place. This includes preparing and presenting intelligence, performance and impact information to national bodies, including DfE and DHSC, and supporting Ofsted and CQC readiness through effective self‑evaluation and continuous improvement.
With a strong understanding of local maternity, early years and public health systems, the postholder will contribute to system‑wide data and intelligence, working with partners to develop integrated approaches that inform decision‑making and service improvement.
The role includes leadership links to Perinatal Mental Health, Parent Infant Relationships, Infant Feeding and Parenting Support, supporting delivery of the Best Start and Healthy Babies Programme.
The Practice Supervisor will deputise for the Team Manager as required and will support delivery of the Parent Infant Relationship Strategy, Lincolnshire Best Start in Life Strategy, and Local Plan 2026–2031.
This is a fixed‑term role for three years, until 31 March 2029.
Qualifications
Qualified social worker, health visitor or public health practitioner with significant system wide experience.
A driving licence and access to a car as travel round the county is required.
