Role Overview:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide targeted academic and emotional support to students with additional learning needs, both in and outside of the classroom.
Assist the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
Promote positive behaviour and support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and resilience.
Work one-to-one or with small groups to help students access the curriculum and reach their potential.
Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure students’ progress is monitored and their needs are met effectively.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting young people in an educational or care setting (experience with SEN is highly desirable).
Is calm, patient, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for education and making a difference.
Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
