Grade: MPS (M3 -M4)

Contract: Fixed Term

Hours: 0.50 FTE

Location: Selby, North Yorkshire, Hemingbrough Community Primary School

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a passionate, motivated and inspirational classroom practitioner to join our welcoming, dedicated and friendly team from January 2026. This position is in Lower KS2, Monday to Friday mornings.

Hemingbrough Community Primary School is a small school with a big heart and has enthusiastic children, committed staff as well as supportive governors and parents. The school is situated in a quiet village with a strong sense of community.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Can create a stimulating and exciting learning environment.

• Is committed to providing a high-quality education both academically and pastorally.

• Can work as a team to continue to drive school improvement.

• Can plan and deliver creative lessons to individual groups and classes based upon sound curriculum knowledge

• Monitors, assesses and builds on children’s progress effectively

• Is committed to professional development and has high expectations of your own practice School is able to offer:

Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure is required for appointment to this post.
