Main duties of the job
We are looking for a salaried GP to join us for 4 sessions per week, across 2 days.
You will be responsible for provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice contributing to the effective management of the practice, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the whole team.

We are a friendly, supportive trainingpractice in North London. We looking for a salaried GP for 4 sessions to join our team. We currently have 9 salaried GPs, 4 GP Partners and a ManagementPartner. We also have nurses, HCAs, PA and Pharmacists in our clinical team, alongwith supportive staff from our PCN including Band 7 & 8 Pharmacists, FCPs, CareCoordinators and SPLW and a Mental Health Worker.
We are a GMS practice and have over17,300 patients.
Our practice is part of a Primary CareNetwork (Barnet PCN3) and our local Federation. We are actively involved in a range of schemesand services to provide high quality to the local population.
We have a team of highly trained secretaries,GPAs and prescription clerks to reduce your admin. We use Emis Web, AccuRx, Anima, Abtrace, Ardens, Surgery Connect and TeamNet Clarity to ensure smooth running of the practice.
We offer £12,457 per session with medicalindemnity cover, NHS Pension and 6 weeks annual leave pro rata.
Job responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide a full range of medical services as defined in the core GMS contract, additional and enhanced services where appropriate.
* Provide other general medical services to meet identified patient need.
* Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare works within the organisation.
* Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
* Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
* Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice; disease management protocols, provide counselling and health education.
* Work within current NCL ICB policy for prescribing.
* Be available and accessible to patients at all times as agreed.
* Maximise the effective use of current clinical computer systems. Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to an agreed standard.
* Undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
* Attend team meetings and other clinical meetings as necessary.
