The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of marketing activities across the Risk and Broking segment of WTW, supporting the Insurance Consulting and Technology line of business. The role holder will be a key support in the delivery of the marketing plan and therefore an integral coordinator across the team as well as with other functions within marketing & communications. The position focuses on building, coordinating and delivering innovative programs of marketing activity, as well as managing and measuring the effectiveness of all marketing activities. Successful candidates must demonstrate business acumen, relevant marketing experience with core execution, project management, communication and team skills.
The Role:
1. Support the ICT marketing team in the deliver of agreed marketing plans and programmes
2. Coordinate and deliver marketing activities and tactics within agreed timelines and budgets. Includes virtual and in-person activity in GB, as well as virtual activity for EMEA-wide and global campaigns.
3. Coordinate and liaise with regional and global marketing colleagues including in-house and outsourced marketing partners (Communications, Design, PR, Digital, Events and Research/Analytics) as required to deliver campaigns and programmes
4. Develop and maintain a good understanding of the full range of services and solutions provided to clients as well as the different markets and buyer hubs that exist
5. Maintain awareness of the competitive environment and an understanding of how marketing strategy and plans are positioned within this to help achieve differentiation and/or a strong presence in the market
6. Help coordinate and manage the (Re)thinking Insurance podcast programme
7. Support the ICT marketing team and/or work alongside the event management team on the delivery of client events/sponsorships
8. Work with the digital delivery team and other stakeholders on delivery of digital marketing including website, direct emails podcasts and social media
9. Support development of thought leadership working with business stakeholders as well as editorial team
10. Evaluate marketing campaigns against agreed KPIs and advise / guide to improve future marketing initiatives
11. Manage the marketing mailing activity using Dynamics, ensuring that mailing lists are accurately built according to their target audience and via co-ordination with relevant stakeholders, ensure that contact data is up-to-date.
12. Actively support and advise stakeholders during project execution and deliver to their needs, with a sense of urgency and accountability
13. Support and coordinate update of marketing planners and activity schedules
14. Help support and coordinate internal communications. This includes the intranet and standalone marketing communications
15. Maintain quarterly benchmarketing analytics reports that reflect performance across various channels
