Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Office Secretary to provide essential administrative support within our professional environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing correspondence, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. Duties
* Answering and directing phone calls with professional etiquette
* Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
* Organising and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems
* Data entry and updating records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
* Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management
* Preparing reports, documents, and presentations as required
* Handling basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
* Providing general administrative support to team members as needed
* Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-organised
Requirements
* Proven office experience or administrative experience
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
* Experience with data entry and clerical tasks
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Good typing speed and accuracy
* Demonstrated phone etiquette and communication skills
* Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: £17,979.94-£25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
