Supply Primary HLTA – Leeds
Salary: £100 – £120 per day (dependent on experience & responsibilities)
Contract: Flexible – day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities
Start date: Immediate / Ongoing
The Education Network is recruiting experienced and confident HLTAs to work across a variety of Primary schools in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled HLTAs who are looking for the flexibility of supply work, while still making a meaningful difference to children’s learning and progress.
Responsibilities
* Cover whole classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-prepared lessons.
* Support teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
* Deliver small group interventions and targeted support to raise attainment.
* Assist with planning, marking and assessment where required.
* Promote positive behaviour and foster a safe, engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Hold HLTA status (or equivalent qualification) with recent Primary school experience.
* Be confident leading whole-class learning as well as supporting individuals and small groups.
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and excellent communication.
* Be flexible, adaptable and able to work across different year groups and school settings.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply).
