Pinnacle Group is looking for a part time Security Officer & Control Room Operator to ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites. You will be joining our Workplace Security Teams based in Carrington, Manchester M31. Access to own transport is essential as there is NO public transport to the site Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments. Your role will involve monitoring premises, conducting regular foot patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills. This is a part time position guaranteed x 20hours per week plus extra hoursto cover for holidays sickness and additional requirements, shifts are 0600-1800, 1800-0600, 0630-1400, 0930-1800, days nights, weekends (with higher rates available for some positions) If you are committed to providing a secure environment and have a strong sense of responsibility, we would love to hear from you. Key responsibilities will include: Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment. Conduct routine patrols of assigned premises and detect signs of any intrusion or unusual activity. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks. Liaison with local authorities, including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency. Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, logging all security-related activities and occurrences.
