Our client, a fast-growing, private equity-backed global hospitality business, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of E-Commerce to lead its digital growth strategy.
This is a high-impact leadership role within the global digital function, responsible for driving performance across three core verticals: the e-commerce platform, CRM strategy and management, and the ongoing development and optimisation of the brand's mobile app.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on digital execution, bringing innovation, commercial rigour and strong analytical capability to a dynamic, international environment.

THE ROLE
Strategic Leadership & Planning
• Develop and deliver the global e-commerce strategy in partnership with the Global Director of Brand Marketing.
• Own the strategic planning and budgetary control of all e-commerce marketing activity.
• Define and manage the global digital roadmap across website and mobile app platforms.
Digital Performance & Acquisition
• Lead global online traffic acquisition strategy across CRM, SEO, PPC and affiliate channels.
• Drive direct booking growth through website optimisation and paid performance marketing.
• Monitor and optimise ROAS, ensuring revenue and traffic targets are consistently met.
• Lead customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies.
Website & Platform Management
• Oversee the usability, design, content and conversion performance of the website and digital platforms.
• Partner with design and content teams to enhance customer engagement across digital touchpoints.
• Implement and evolve content strategy across web and blog platforms.
• Manage third-party technology partners and digital service providers.
CRM & Data Strategy
• Own the global CRM strategy, driving email list growth and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
• Ensure CRM effectiveness across all departments and customer touchpoints.
• Oversee customer data warehousing, data governance and compliance policies.
Analytics & Insight
• Deliver performance reporting and actionable insights across all digital channels.
• Identify conversion opportunities and optimisation strategies through deep analytics.
• Translate data into clear commercial recommendations for senior leadership.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic leadership, technical understanding and commercial execution capability.
Experience & Background
• Proven experience as a Senior E-Commerce Manager or Head of E-Commerce within a multi-site or international business.
• Minimum of five years' relevant experience.
• Strong background in PPC strategy, global campaign management and performance optimisation.
• Deep knowledge of Google Analytics and digital performance measurement.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing CRM strategies.
• Experience managing third-party technology and agency partners.
• Working knowledge of web and mobile development fundamentals to effectively oversee external agencies.
