🌟 Deputy Manager – Children's Residential Home 🌟
📍 Location: Sunderland
🏡 Provision: Children’s Residential Home (Ages 7-17, Mild Learning Difficulties & EBD)
⏳ Hours: 48 hours per week (Rolling 6-week rota, includes at least 1 weekend per month)
💰 Salary: £38,400 per annum + Sleep-in payment (£52 per shift)

Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker looking for your next career move? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing provider with a strong Ofsted “Good” track record.
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the home, managing staff rotas, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards, and creating a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive. You’ll work alongside a highly experienced Registered Manager and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

✅ What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
* Experience in a Senior RSW, Deputy or Assistant Manager role in residential childcare
* Strong understanding of safeguarding & children’s residential care legislation
* Confidence in supervising teams & ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Essential)
* Good IT skills & a willingness to learn new systems

* Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards & safeguarding regulations
