Overview
Housing Management Worker – Cumbria, Silloth. Earn £12.60 per hour (salary £24,638 per annum pro rata) with great benefits including a cash Health Plan. Home, a place where you belong. This role is to support customers to ensure their homes are safe and well maintained, manage tenancy and rent accounts, engage customers in their communities, and contribute to their wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Support customers to manage their tenancy and rent accounts and engage them in their tenancies and community activities.
* Assist with housing benefit claims to ensure benefits are received on the rent account.
* Keep properties fully occupied and rent accounts up to date.
* Carry out and record routine safety and compliance checks in buildings and communities to ensure compliance.
* Manage admin tasks including updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works to be done.
You bring
* Be a people person with a background in property management; compliance or health and safety checks experience is a plus.
* A “can do” positive attitude, proactive, well organized, and able to work on your own initiative.
* Passion for delivering excellent customer service and helping customers.
* Confidence when working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners; ability to influence people from diverse backgrounds.
* Enjoy property and take pride in keeping properties in the best possible condition for customers.
* DBS check: Enhanced DBS required; cost paid by us.

Job details
* Flexible around hours; we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you. 7.50 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
* Based at our service in Silloth; time spent with customers or in an accessible office.
* Ability to use technology for creating/updating Health and Safety records, making benefit claims, and conducting tenancy sign-ups.
* Occasionally cover other schemes or attend team meetings; you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. Mileage paid.
* DBS check (Enhanced) required; costs covered by us.
