As a Real Estate Review Lead Vice President in our Real Estate team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the appraisal review process for complex transactions. You will ensure that all external valuations meet regulatory requirements and professional standards, providing comprehensive valuation analysis. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our global operations, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Determine the scope of work for valuation assignments, engaging qualified independent valuers.
2. Review and analyze valuation reports for secured lending and financial transactions.
3. Ensure compliance with JPMC policies, local/international regulations, USPAP, FIRREA, and other standards.
4. Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments to validate appraisal conclusions.
5. Oversee the review process, ensuring timely completion of assignments.
6. Manage and prioritize multiple review projects simultaneously.
7. Communicate findings and recommendations with senior team members.
8. Liaise with consultants across Europe and attend site inspections abroad when required.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
9. Professional qualifications such as RICS or equivalent real estate designation (., MAI or API).
10. University degree in real estate, surveying, or related discipline.
11. Extensive experience in valuing/analyzing commercial/residential real estate in key EMEA or APAC markets.
12. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Argus Enterprise, Argus DCF, and related financial modeling tools.
13. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
14. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
15. Ability to manage priorities and multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
