We are looking for a talented Junior Sommelier to join our team here at Oblix. Our Junior Sommelier are hardworking, dedicated and strive to deliver the superior level of customer service that we are known for.
Oblix - Located on the 32nd floor of The Shard, Oblix is a sophisticated, contemporary restaurant, split across two different spaces offering views across central London from East to West:
* Oblix West is a refined, urban dining space where people can relax and enjoy a variety of options from our menus from brunch to dinner.
* Oblix East offers diners an eclectic mix of innovative dishes along with award-winning cocktails and afternoon tea.
What We Look For
Our ideal Junior Sommelier embodies our values and the following:
* Previous experience in a similar high-end restaurant as Junior Sommelier
* WSET Level 2 or above (desired)
* Great team player
Main Duties
Your key responsibilities as Junior Sommelier will include:
* Assist with wine service during lunch and dinner.
* Prepare and maintain wine stations and tools.
* Restock and rotate wine inventory regularly.
* Receive and store wine deliveries correctly.
* Provide basic wine info and support guest service.
